Our Team
Java Relief is a 100% volunteer company that sells amazing fresh roasted coffee to give hope to children at risk. Founded by Steve and Brandy Siewert, Java Relief is a special kind of coffee retailer because the beans are fresh-roasted, on-demand. What makes them unique is that they are a volunteer company, and 100% of their profits aid children at risk.
Created after their first meeting with Luken to help the children of Cite Soleil, the Luken Foundation is one of the organizations they support. They even named two of their coffees after our team members! Luken Blend and Chenet - French Roast. Proceeds from the sale of their coffee have aided us tremendously. Java Relief has helped us with shipping costs, furniture, cooking equipment, medical equipment, healthcare, etc. We are truly thankful for this organization. Midwest Food Bank’s operating model in Haiti leverages partnerships with more than a dozen faith-based organizations located throughout the country. They identify and distribute food to school children, orphans, safe houses, feeding centers, clinics, and severely malnourished and marginalized individuals and families.
Tender Mercies is an essential component of Midwest Food Bank’s international effort. Tender Mercies is an important initiative at Midwest Food Bank that enables nutritious meals to be produced and distributed to those most needy. The Tender Mercies meal packet consists of high-grade rice, pre-cooked pinto beans, fortified chicken seasoning, and soy protein. We are very blessed to partner with this organization. We are feeding children nutritious meals every day!

Priceless Grace Ministries operates a free medical clinic in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where basic medical care is offered to individuals in desperate need but can’t afford care. They provide undernourished children an outpatient program that will bring them back to health and teach and empower their parents to know how to feed them well and break the cycle of malnutrition for their families. After each child completes their regimen, their parents are taught how to cook nutritious meals with affordable foods readily available to them.
PGM is utilizing part of our Luken Foundation building in Cite Soleil for a malnutrition clinic. This will be a safe place for families to bring their malnourished children to receive care.
Texas Baptist Children’s Home (TBCH) embraces children and families in need to empower and equip them for a promising future. Children and single mothers who come to TBCH are often lost, hurting, and hopeless, without a place to turn for help during their time of greatest need. Our residential program provides a safe home and a stable family environment where they can learn, grow, and ultimately experience a happy, healthy future.
We are so very thankful for this organization and grateful to all donations such as clothing, backpacks, and toys!
