Board Members

Richard Burge

Ricky has volunteered with many organizations and has owned RA Burge Commercial Concrete for the past 33 years. With his love for spreading the word of God and his previous volunteer work in Haiti, he formed the Luken Foundation in February 2016. He brings much knowledge and insight to the organization as President and Board Member.

Autumn Sheffield

Autumn has volunteered with the Luken Foundation since February of 2016. Her dedication and loyalty to this cause further strengthen the outreach of this ministry. She has created all multimedia platforms for the Luken Foundation and oversees all financial transactions. Her marketing and accounting skills are an asset to our Board of Directors as Vice President.

William “Ben” Terry

Ben loves to meet new people and is known to strike up a conversation with a perfect stranger. He's very optimistic and enthusiastic about each day. Ben is highly motivated to serve others and does whatever is needed to help his team and clients. Ben attended West Texas A&M and is an Air Force veteran, where he served as a Russian Linguist. Ben was previously the Director of Operations for Hagler Affiliates and the Director of Business Development for the J. Clint Anderson Company. He has been with MIS since October of 2014. Ben's most needed asset to the Luken Foundation is his ministry skill. His extensive involvement with various Christian ministries has brought us a vital insight into building our ministry effectively.

Maichel Oehlert

Maichel “Mike” Oehlert, a graduate of the University of Kansas, has been a maintenance supervisor for the past 33 years at Texas Baptist Children's Home. He volunteers in various relief efforts and is a faithful donor to different charities. The leadership skills and experience that Maichel will bring to the Luken Foundation will strengthen our organization.

Julie Ruiz

Julie is excellent at account management, and she will bring those skills as Treasurer for the Luken Foundation. She enjoys volunteering with many organizations, and her leadership skills have strengthened each one.
