Luken Foundation believes that change must start with Haiti's children. They have a right to education, a right to grow in stature, and a right to speak up for what they strongly believe is true and good. We believe that by providing these children with an education and introducing them to the life-changing power of Jesus Christ, they will be strong, capable, and grounded with a God-centered heart. The education provided will equip them with the skills and training needed to build a brighter, self-sufficient, independent, and strong future.
We give hope to the most impoverished and dangerous slum in the Western Hemisphere.
Cite´ Soleil is a slum outside of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, where Luken felt a calling from God to make a difference in the lives of children that had no hope for their future. Today, the Luken Foundation has greatly impacted the area and is feeding, clothing and sending over 75 of these children to school.

We care about what we do and strive to empower the lives of the youth in the Cite' Soleil community through our wide range of programs. These programs shape our youth and their community into leaders for the future, so they can prepare to take on whatever comes their way. Tuition Assistance
Basic education is not free in Haiti. Most people cannot afford the $150-$250/year tuition rate when they make an average of $1.25/day.
After-School Tutoring
Tutors dedicated to ensuring each child absorbs what is taught in the public classroom.
Healthy Meal Program
Guaranteeing the children in the Luken Foundation receive a hot meal everyday, also feeding others on Sundays and summer camps.
Summer Camp
Keeping children active, educated, and connected!
Refuge House
A safe place to gather and learn away from the instability and gang violence that sometimes happens in Cite´ Soleil.
Medical Clinic
Taking care of the children’s physical needs as well as the educational, emotional and spiritual needs
Community Church
As our ongoing commitment to the community, we provide Sunday church services to anyone who would like to attend.
